ALC provides the community support through educating about wellness, health standards, and opportunities. Our Community Health Workers distribute much needed supplies to undeserved communities. Additionally, our CHWs use physical and digital mediums to educate vaccine and testing opportunities. If you or someone you know needs access to COVID supplies such as hand sanitizer, masks, gloves, testing, or access to vaccine opportunities please contact us via phone or email.
ALC staff act as translators for the community. We currently offer translation services for Spanish, French, and Creole French.
Our team is comprised of licensed therapists, substance use counselors, peer support specialists, community health workers, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, social workers, certified nurse assistants, nurses, and educators. We pride ourselves on the social and economic diversity of our team. Everyday our team members give it their all to make a positive impact on their community. We welcome volunteers to contact us and learn about how they can also participate in supporting their community.
ALC receives donations to support the efforts of this organization and our volunteers. Please help us in our mission to improve our community and empower our staff/volunteers.
